Elizabeth Dhlamini-Kumalo has a Masters’ Degree in Management specialising in Human Resources. She is one of the founding members of the Women’s National Coalition as well as the Career Women’s Association. Under her leadership, South African Board for People Practices (SABPP) formed the Human Resource Research Institute which has now already produced nine annual Women’s Reports released on Women’s day every year. As a mentor and executive coach, Elizabeth actively guides HR Professionals and senior managers to improve their performance.
She is currently Chairperson of the SABPP HR Governance Committee, a pioneering structure to build HR Governance nationally. She was an HR Director at several top companies like, Afrox, Woolworths and Sandvik. As previous Chairperson of SABPP, Elizabeth played a key role in the transformation of SABPP, including the adoption of the HR Voice Strategy and the development of the National HR Standards. In her previous roles as HR Executive, Elizabeth was responsible for managing employment equity and diversity at several large organisations.
